Working With Wim Hof: Learning From the Source
There are many breathwork and cold exposure coaches today. But only a small number have learned the Wim Hof Method directly from Wim Hof himself.
I’m fortunate to be in that category.
My relationship with Wim Hof — the legendary “Iceman” and creator of the Wim Hof Method — has been one of the most defining chapters of my professional journey. It’s an experience that shapes every breathwork session, cold exposure practice, and resilience training workshop I lead.
Over the years we’ve shared ice baths, long conversations, and the stage at large multi-day events. What I teach isn’t simply based on completing a certification course. It’s rooted in real time spent learning, assisting, and working alongside Wim Hof.
Very few coaches in this field have had the opportunity to experience the Wim Hof Method at this level of direct mentorship.
More Than a Certification
Wim is not only a mentor but also a genuine friend, and our work together continues to evolve. That ongoing relationship means I’m not simply drawing from a single workshop or training event.
Instead, I remain connected to the living philosophy behind the Wim Hof Method, an evolving understanding of what the human body and mind are capable of through breathwork, cold exposure, and mindset training.
The tools and practices I bring to my clients have been shaped, tested, and refined through direct access to the person who pioneered them.

In The Ice Together
One of the most powerful expressions of trust, resilience, and shared experience is sitting in freezing water together — and it’s something I’ve had the privilege of doing many times with Wim Hof himself.
We’ve spent over twenty minutes at a time side by side in an ice bath, breath by breath, moment by moment. Experiences like this go far beyond simply practicing cold exposure or ice bath training. They create a deep understanding of what the Wim Hof Method truly feels like from the inside.
That kind of experience builds more than physical resilience — it builds insight.
I know firsthand what it’s like to be guided through intense cold exposure by the man who pioneered the practice. That lived experience shapes how I guide my own clients through ice baths, breathwork sessions, and resilience training.
When I coach someone through their first cold immersion, I’m not drawing on theory alone. I’m drawing on direct experience with Wim Hof and the method itself, helping people navigate the mental and physical challenge of the cold safely and effectively.
It’s not just about enduring the ice; it’s about learning how to stay calm, breathe, and adapt when your body is under stress.

Working World-Class Wim Hof Method Events
I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Wim Hof at large multi-day Wim Hof Method events, assisting him directly during breathwork sessions and cold exposure workshops.
Standing in that role provided a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on how these powerful practices are delivered at the highest level. I've observed how Wim guides large groups through breathwork, ice bath training, and mindset exercises, while creating a safe environment for deep physical and emotional breakthroughs.
Watching him work up close revealed something important: the method isn’t just about techniques — it’s about reading the room, adapting to the group, and holding space for people as they move through some of the most profound physical and mental experiences of their lives.
That kind of experience is impossible to learn from theory alone.
Being part of these world-class Wim Hof events gave me invaluable insight into how to guide people through cold exposure, breathwork, and resilience training safely and effectively. Those lessons now shape the way I structure my own sessions, ensuring clients receive guidance grounded in direct experience with the method at its highest level.
Everything I teach today carries the influence of those experiences.

The Conversations Behind the Practice
Beyond the ice baths and breathwork sessions, some of the most valuable time I’ve spent with Wim Hof has been in conversation — one-on-one, off stage, discussing the philosophy, science, and lived experience behind the Wim Hof Method.
Wim is not only a mentor but also a good friend, and our relationship continues to evolve. Those conversations have given me a deeper understanding of how breathwork, cold exposure, and mindset training work together to unlock the body’s natural capacity for resilience, healing, and performance.
We’ve spoken about the science behind the method, the role of the nervous system, and the profound changes people experience when they reconnect with their breath and their physiology. These discussions have shaped the way I guide my own clients through Wim Hof Method breathwork, ice baths, and resilience training.
Learning directly from Wim in these moments has helped me understand not just how to teach the practices, but why they work and what they’re truly capable of unlocking in people.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a certified Wim Hof Method instructor. You’re working with someone who has spent meaningful time with the Iceman himself, learning from him directly and carrying that insight into every session.
